Our Team
David Morrison
Director
As Company Director of Davco, Dave oversees and manages the business as a whole, sets strategic direction and leads the Davco management team. He still remains actively involved in the day-to-day activities and is particularly passionate about sports lighting and industrial automation.

He takes an active, hands-on role in our lighting projects and can often be found onsite during the season. He has over 10 years of experience running large projects at Davco and a deep understanding of all aspects of project management and delivery, from administration through to install of the smallest electrical component.
Dave is the face and spirit of Davco Electrical Services and works hard to build and maintain strong relationships with all of his clients and colleagues
Jeremy Grant
General Manager
Davco’s General Manager, Jeremy, manages the day-to-day running of the business and key client liaison as well as providing input on strategic direction for the business. He brings this holistic view to the Davco management team.

He is also a Health & Safety Officer and Fire Warden for Davco, and has primary responsibility for compliance.

He takes a lead role on selected projects, working closely with Dave and the rest of the projects team to manage timeframes and resources across all projects.
He is particularly passionate about our industrial electrical work and he remains one of our most knowledgeable and skilled team members when it comes to industrial automation and control.
Jo Morrison
Operations Manager
Whilst not an electrician, Jo has a background in project management and communication which is applicable cross-industry.

Jo joined Davco in 2015 as a key member of the projects team, with a particular focus on resource management and allocation.

In 2020, her role expanded to encompass responsibility for all administrative and operational aspects of the business as a whole, working closely with Jeremy and Dave on business strategy - both planning and implementation.

She represents operations and project resourcing within the Davco management team.
Jake Watt
Resource & Maintenance Manager
After several years delivering and overseeing projects for Davco, Jake joined the Management team in April 2021, in the newly created Resource & Maintenance Manager role.

As a registered electrician, with a broad skillset and wide range of experience, Jake is uniquely qualified for this role, where he is responsible for scheduling all work across the business, and managing a team of electricians to deliver planned and reactive maintenance.

He has a friendly and relaxed manner, and stays calm under pressure, which stands him in good stead for managing this busy and time-critical part of the business.
In addition, Jake supports on incoming client enquiries relating to specific electrical requirements and has a clear focus on the full customer experience.

Jake is passionate about learning and development and is one of our certified workplace assessors for apprentice on-the-job training

Vaughan Woodcock
Civil Works
Vaughan joined Davco in 2018, rounding out our projects team by taking on the Civil Works role. He oversees all non-electrical elements on projects where there is a significant civil component.
Alongside working onsite on projects, Vaughan manages our workshop space and oversees our fleet, working with the team to ensure our vehicles and plant items are regularly serviced and kept in good working order.
He is a qualified roofer and brings a wealth of general construction experience and a practical, ‘can-do’ approach that lends itself to project delivery.
Archie Hoddinott
Electrician
Archie is our residential specialist within the service team. He comes to us from the UK, where he completed the requirements for his NZ registration, before emigrating in 2018 and joining Davco. He has a wealth of experience in the residential area, with much of his time in the UK spent on high-end housing.

Archie is completely at home carrying out all residential electrical work, whether small-scale maintenance or repairs, modifications or additions to an existing home or fully wiring a new-build house. He is enjoying being able to apply his skills to commercial work and gaining some more experience of and exposure to industrial electrical work.

He is very organised and efficient, which is particularly valuable in a service role, where he is likely to be booked to complete several jobs within one day.
Michael Tucker
Electrician
Michael joined Davco in May 2021, coming from a smaller company where he gained great exposure to a variety of residential and commercial install and maintenance work.

His gentle, courteous manner and tidy work habits make him ideally suited to residential service work for Davco, however he is a keen learner and while his primary focus within the team will continue to be in the residential service/maintenance space, he will work with the other members of the team to build his knowledge and skill in the industrial area.

In addition, Michael will flex to help out with commercial projects as needed.
Luke Barnao
Electrician
Luke completed his apprenticeship with Davco and developed great all round skills, working on a mix of commercial and industrial projects as well as building out his experience on maintenance and fault finding work.

After completing his apprenticeship, he left Davco to focus on Heating, Ventilation and Air-Conditioning (HVAC) for a time before returning to Davco to put his new skills to good use and continue with broader electrical work.

He is a passionate member of the team who enjoys delivering high quality work and continually striving to further develop his skills, knowledge and expertise.

Dipak Mistry
Electrician
Dipak joined Davco in August 2021. His key area of expertise is leading a team to deliver large-scale commercial projects, but with strong all round experience and skills he is equally comfortable delivering smaller projects or service work in the downtime between larger projects.

He has a keen eye for detail and is driven to deliver work to an exceptionally high standard, which makes him a great fit at Davco.

With excellent communication and problem solving skills, he is quietly confident and focused on building strong relationships with colleagues and clients alike.
Jimmy Speck
Electrician
Jimmy has an industrial background and strong experience working on pumps, motors and large machinery, particularly at installation stage.

He is also very experienced with commercial developments and is heavily involved in our large-area lighting and motorway projects as a site supervisor.

Jimmy is meticulous, thorough and well-organised – particular strengths when working across multiple projects that span a long time and need to be completed in discrete blocks, rather than in one go.

Whilst Jimmy is most passionate about project work, his extensive experience and broad base of skills mean he is also well-equipped to support the maintenance team when required.
Graydon Williams
Electrician
Graydon joined Davco part way through his apprenticeship in 2018 and seamlessly fitted in as one of the Davco family.

Throughout his apprenticeship he developed skills across the full spectrum of electrical work, with a strong base in commercial new builds and particular focus on industrial and specialist maintenance and install.

Troy is a true all-rounder and can be counted on to deliver quality work in many different situations. He is meticulous with his paperwork, and always happy to be involved and help wherever he is most needed.

Troy has worked on numerous projects across all aspects of the electrical industry, including commercial and industrial projects, as well as domestic service work.
Karl Macdonald
Electrician
Karl started his apprenticeship in 2020, with ETCO, and joined Davco as his first placement, and first job, after leaving school. He qualified in early 2024.

Despite the challenges of starting in the same year as the Covid pandemic, Karl applied himself diligently, taking every opportunity to learn and grow his base set of electrical skills.

He is keen and willing to get exposure to every aspect of the trade as he works to support our team of qualified electricians across the board.
In his second year, he established himself as a key member of the projects team, working to understand the full scope of works and bigger picture, as well as the detail of the electrical work needed to deliver a successful outcome for each project milestone.
Stella Clark
